Here's our fun, quick, nutritious packed ghostly Halloween pizza recipe using hearty chunks of Quorn pieces which are high in protein and fibre. We've added seasonal vegetables for a lip-smacking taste. This is ideal for vegetarians and for those looking for a meat-free meal. It takes about ten minutes preparation time and about ten minutes in the oven. This will serve two.
Ingredients
Quorn Pieces
Medium Pizza Base
Tomato Puree
Sliced mushrooms and spinach for the topping
Cheese slices cut into fun Halloween shapes, we went for ghosts and pumpkins
Directions
Pre-heat the oven to 200C.
Cook the Quorn pieces as per instructions on the packet. We gently fired them for a few minutes.
Smear tomato puree on the pizza base. Then add the toppings and Quorn pieces.
Cook in the oven for ten minutes.
Remove and add the cheese so that they gently melt, and their fun Halloween shapes are retained.
We served this Halloween pizza recipe with an optional topping of vegetarian and vegan friendly BBQ sauce. You can also change the toppings to suit your own tastes.
Enjoy and have a great Halloween!
